Economic Empowerment & Growth
We have conducted Financial capability, Entrepreneurship and Village Savings and loaning training to 300 Adolescent Girls and Young Women in Nyalenda. This promotes poverty reduction, economic growth, and helps bridge the gender gap by promoting equality in accessing opportunities.

Menstrual Health & SRHR
We trained 10 Young Women Trainers on Manufacturing of Reusable Sanitary Pads. These trainers have further educated 40 young women on making the pads.

Ending Teenage Pregnancy and HIV in Dunga Fishing Community
Supported by Global Youth Mobilization Fund
Conducted a 6-month robust community dialogue with fishermen, adolescent girls, parents, and local authorities to promote prevention of teenage pregnancies and HIV transmission among teenage girls.
- SRHR Advocacy focusing on Age Appropriate Adolescent Comprehensive Sexuality Education
- Economic empowerment through entrepreneurship training

Climate Change and SRHR Project - DGYG Pads Progress
This project focuses on empowerment and environmental sustainability through manufacturing reusable sanitary products in Nyalenda. Supported by Slum Dwellers International – Kenya and Muungano Wa Wanavijiji, it addresses environmental concerns, fosters economic empowerment, and breaks down societal barriers related to menstrual hygiene.
